Akara Hotel Pattaya

Perfect hotel for young couple and youth. The modern design. The gym is small sized room. The view from the rooftop pool bar is one of the best. The rooms are clean and modern minimalist designed. The most remembered is the breakfast. Really good and many varieties. The staffs are helpful. The location near terminal 21, beach, cabaret shows… mini market, restaurant and massage are easy to find.

Stayed at Akara Hotel Pattaya for just one night, and it was a really smooth experience. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The bed was cozy and the AC worked perfectly. Even though it was a short stay, I appreciated how friendly the staff were and how easy everything was check-in, check-out, no issues at all. Location is convenient, with shops and restaurants nearby, and it felt safe and quiet at night. Perfect spot for a short stay in Pattaya. Would definitely come back if I’m in town again.

Stayed two nights. Good location and fantastic view. However, the property needs to be better maintained. The night lights were not working. The toilet bowl choked easily. The hotel even suffered a power outage at 3am on one of the nights and I had to walk down from Level 20 to Level 7 Reception to find out what happened. This definitely isn't the best experience.

Next to terminal 21， a very good and convenient location. The room is nice with a very good view. There are many choices provided in the Breakfast.

Hotel is very near to terminal 21 mall. Walkable distance. And also a 7-11 nearby. Bars and massage across the street

This hotel is absolutely wonderful and completely exceeded my expectations. The staff were all so friendly and helpful and always happy to go the extra mile. I asked the hotel if they could do anything special as I booked the trip for my boyfriend’s birthday. I was maybe expecting a slice of cake, but they upgraded our room for free and left some lovely decoration and cake on the bed. The bed was super comfy and we both slept really well. The room also gets very dark with not many switches or annoying lights keeping us awake. The shower pressure was great and they had lots of toiletries and amenities. The hotel breakfast was great with lots of choice, and the dinner at the hotel was also really tasty and reasonably priced. The location of the hotel is great with many cafes and restaurants nearby, plus it’s easy to walk to the beach. The pool is so nice to relax and unwind with a lovely view, and there is a lot of shade which is perfect when the sun is really strong. There are a few things that could be done to make the stay even better: 1. The hot breakfast items were always a bit cold, such as the bacon, eggs, potatoes and dim sum. We went at 6am when breakfast just started and it was even cold then, so it would be good to have some hot plates or heated lamps to keep it warm. 2. The shower and bathroom doors are all glass and, as far as I can tell, didn’t have a switch to make them fog up which is a little bit awkward. Make sure you’re comfortable with the person you’re with and tell each other when you’re using the toilet 😅 3. Dressing gowns are a bit small for us, would be nice if they could be bigger and comfier 4. The WiFi doesn’t stay connected and you need to keep reentering the password which is a little bit annoying 5. The room cleaning was a little bit slow. We left the room at 8am and turned the switch on asking it to be cleaned, but when we came back at 2pm it still wasn’t cleaned, even though the cleaners were just a few doors down when we left Overall, I would absolutely recommend this hotel.
